For Devleena, creating has always been more than a profession — it has been a way of expressing herself.
A NIFT Bangalore alumna, Devleena grew up with a natural inclination towards art, design, colours and textures. Her education in textile and fashion gave her the foundation to turn that instinct into a craft, while her entrepreneurial journey taught her what it takes to turn an idea into a business.
She took her first steps into entrepreneurship before moving into the corporate world, where she built her career across marketing, growth and consumer-focused roles. Working with fast-growing organisations gave her a completely different perspective — one that taught her about customers, brands, business strategy and the importance of creating products that genuinely connect with people.
Amidst the numbers, strategies and screens, her creative side never really went away.
The desire to create something tangible, beautiful and meaningful kept pulling her back. Eventually, she decided to bring both sides of herself together — the designer and the entrepreneur. That journey led to AromaCraft.
Today, Devleena personally brings her design sensibility, business experience and love for handmade craft into everything she creates — from choosing materials and experimenting with colours and forms, to developing products and building the brand. She believes in being involved in the details.
Her journey has also evolved alongside another important chapter of her life — motherhood. Building a business while navigating life as a new mother has taught her patience, resilience and the courage to build at her own pace.
For Devleena, being a founder isn't just about building a business. It's about creating a life that leaves room for curiosity, creativity and the freedom to make something of her own.
A designer at heart.
An entrepreneur by experience.
And a creator, always.
